The victim was in traumatic arrest following the crash, shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Route 511 and Stonetown Road, and pronounced dead a short time later.
A medical chopper that initially was summoned was cancelled.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office was investigating with Ringwood police.
